What “free” usually means, and what it means here
A free digital business card normally means one of three things: a trial that ends, a card with the maker's name stamped across the bottom, or a card so limited it is really an advertisement. It is worth knowing which you are signing up for.
On Yuj, free has no end date and no Yuj badge on your card. The page somebody opens is yours; nothing on it sells us to them. What free does have is smaller numbers, and those are written down below rather than discovered later.

The honest catch
Scanning a card costs us money every time — a photograph has to be read — so that is the number that differs most between free and paid. Twenty a month is plenty for ordinary weeks and not enough for a trade show. If you are working a stand, you will want a paid plan; if you collect a few cards a month, free is genuinely the whole product.
The other honest limit is branding. A free card uses one of four clean designs and our standard colours. Your own colours, font and logo are the main thing ₹99 buys.

- No selling the contacts you collect. They are yours; you can export them.
Questions people ask
Is it free forever, or just a trial?
Forever. There is no countdown and no expiry. If you never pay, your card keeps working and keeps being shareable.
Do you put your logo on a free card?
No. There is no Yuj badge, watermark or “made with” line anywhere on the card you share. The page is yours.
What is the catch with the free plan?
Smaller numbers, not hidden rules. One card instead of several, four designs instead of ten, and 20 card scans a month instead of 100. Reading a photographed card costs us money each time, which is why that is the limit that moves.
Do I need to enter card details to start?
No. Signing up asks for nothing to pay with, so nothing can begin charging you without you choosing to.
Can I export my contacts if I leave?
Yes. The people you collect are yours. Exporting them is on the paid plan, and we will not hold them hostage — ask us and we will get them to you.
