NFC business card — tap, and it opens
Tap a card on their phone, and your details open.
An NFC business card carries a link, not your details — so you can change your number, your title or your whole company and the card in your pocket is still right.
No card details needed. You can share your card the same day.

- Nothing to install

How an NFC business card works
NFC is the same short-range radio your phone uses to pay at a till. An NFC business card — sometimes sold as a smart business card — is a plastic or metal card with a tiny chip inside. The chip holds one thing: a web address.
You hold the card against the top of someone's phone, their phone reads the address, and your card opens. There is no pairing, no app and no Bluetooth. It takes about a second, and it works with the phone locked on most Android handsets and from the top edge on an iPhone.
Because the chip holds a link and not your details, the useful part is what the link points at. Change your number on a Yuj card and every tap from then on shows the new one — from the same piece of plastic, with nothing reprinted and nothing rewritten.
Three steps, one minute
Use a card you already have
You do not have to buy anything from us to tap. Any blank NFC card, sticker or tag will do, and writing your Yuj link to it takes a minute with a free NFC writing app on an Android phone.
1. Make your card
Set up your Yuj card and copy its link. That link is what the chip will hold.
2. Write the link
Hold a blank NFC card to the back of an Android phone and write the link with any NFC tools app.
3. Tap and share
Touch the card to the top of someone's phone. Your details open. They save you with one tap.
Yuj NFC cards are coming
We are making our own NFC cards, printed with your card's link already written to them, so there is nothing to set up. They are not on sale yet and we would rather say that plainly than take money for something that has not shipped.
If you want one, make your card first — it is free, it works today with any blank NFC card, and we will know where to find you when ours are ready. No deposit, and no date promised until we can keep it.
Always keep the QR code
Not every phone taps. Older handsets have no NFC, some have it switched off, and a few iPhones in a crowded hall simply refuse. A tap that does not work in front of a new contact is worse than no tap at all, so treat NFC as the quick path and the QR code as the one that always works.
Every Yuj card has both, plus a link you can paste into a message. Whatever the other person's phone can manage, one of the three will do it.
Questions people ask
Do I need to buy an NFC card from you?
No. Any blank NFC card, sticker or tag works. You write your Yuj link to it once with a free NFC app on an Android phone, and it taps from then on.
Does the other person need an app to tap?
No. Their phone reads the link and opens it in the browser they already have. Nothing is installed on either side.
What if their phone does not have NFC?
Show your QR code instead, or send the link in a message. Every Yuj card has all three, because a tap that does not work in front of a new contact is worse than not trying.
Can I change my details without rewriting the card?
Yes, and that is the main reason to use a link rather than a chip full of contact details. Edit your card and every future tap shows the new details from the same piece of plastic.
Is an NFC card the same as a smart business card?
Usually, yes. “Smart business card” is a marketing phrase for the same thing: a physical card with a chip that opens a digital card when tapped.
Make the card your tap opens
Set your card up free, then write its link to any NFC card or tag you like.
